Elder Mylon L. Burwell
A native Huntsvillian, Mylon is the third child of Helen Drake Burwell and the late Willie Edd Burwell.
Elder Burwell has a Master’s in Business Management, Organizational Management and Calibration Engineering and a Phd. in Ministry from Liberty University. Elder Burwell has an entrepreneur’s spirit. Using skills acquired doing his tenure with Novar Electronics Foundation in December 2002 he became co-founder and co-owner of “Three in One Incorporated,” a Electronics calibration firm, serving the North Alabama – Southern Tennessee Area. He also has a vested interest in a commercial and residential electronic security corporation, in Madison Alabama.
To better serve, not only his corporate clients, but his community and members as well, Elder Burwell is a member of both the Huntsville and Madison Chamber of Commerce, and the North Alabama African American Chamber of Commerce. Elder Burwell’s primary focus is on sharing the Word of God and has the privilege of doing so weekly, as Pastor of the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church, where he has served since September 1994. A position, which he truly enjoys and feels blessed by the Lord to be their servant.
Elder Burwell serves as Moderator of the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Association. Elder Burwell had the privilege of serving as Vice Moderator 2003-2012, under the leadership of Moderator Emeritus Eugene Lewis and Moderator Robert Rogers, Sr.
Elder Burwell is married to Wilhemina Kirby Burwell and has two sons and two daughters-in-law: Jonathan (Ranita), and Anthony (Tamela), and five beautiful and adored grandchildren: Sydney, Avery, Tyler, Nala and Nathan.
His one desire is to gain a closer and stronger relationship with God and “Share the Word of God.”
